Getting Started with Sero
Welcome to Sero—where you’ll meet the people building web3. This guide helps you set up your account and start building meaningful relationships in minutes.

New to Sero? You’ll be up and running in under 5 minutes.
Create Your Account
Sign up takes less than 30 seconds. Choose your preferred method:
- Email: Validate your address with a code
- Crypto Wallet: Sign with your wallet
You’ll receive a confirmation email after signing up. Click the link to activate your account.
Build Your Profile
Your profile helps others understand who you are and what you’re building. Add these essentials:
- Profile photo: Help people recognize you at events
- Bio: 2-3 sentences about your role and interests in web3
- Tags: Select interests to create categorized chips on your profile
- Company & Role: What you’re working on or where you work
- Location: Helps surface relevant local events
- Wallet & domain: Add your onchain identity
Complete profiles get ~3x more views and invitations.
Connect Your Social Networks
Sero helps you meet the people building web3. Connect your social accounts to:
- Find existing connections already on Sero
- See which events your network is attending
- Discover mutual connections
Available integrations:
- Twitter/X
- Telegram
- Farcaster
- Google Calendar
To connect an account, go to Settings → Social Graphs and follow the authorization flow for each platform.
Finding and Attending Events
Discover Events
The Events page shows everything happening in web3:
- Browse by date: Use the calendar view to see what’s coming up
- Filter by location: Find events in your city or at major conferences
- Filter by network: See where your friends and contacts are going
- Check attendees: See who is attending, highlighting the people you know
RSVP to Events
When you find an event you want to attend:
- Click the event to view details
- Click RSVP to confirm your attendance
- For external events, follow the links to the registration page
- For Sero-hosted events, you can RSVP directly on the platform
Your RSVP helps others know you’ll be there, making it easier to meet up in person.
Building Your Network
The real value of events is the people. For each event, you can:
- View the full attendee list
- Filter by your connections
- Click through to attendee profiles
- Send interesting people a message
- Connect with attendees on other social networks before the event
