Using Sero
This guide covers everything you need to get the most out of Sero as an attendee—from building a standout profile to making meaningful connections at events.
Build Your Profile
Your profile helps others understand who you are and what you’re building. Strong profiles attract more event invitations and connection requests.
Essential Fields

Complete profiles get approximately 3x more views and invitations than sparse ones.
Connect Social Accounts
Linking your social accounts unlocks Sero’s network features:
- Find connections: Discover people you already know on Sero
- See your network: Know which events your friends are attending
- Surface mutuals: Identify shared connections with other attendees

- Farcaster
- Google Calendar
How to Connect
- Go to Settings → Social Graphs
- Select a platform and authorize access
- Repeat for each account you want to connect
Your connections sync automatically after authorization.
Find Events
The Events page is your gateway to everything happening in web3.
Browse and Filter
- Calendar view: See events by date
- Location filter: Find events in specific cities or at conferences
- Network filter: Show only events your connections are attending
- Attendee preview: See who’s going before you commit
Mark Your Attendance
- Click an event to view details
- Click Attending to mark yourself as going
For events hosted on external platforms (Luma, Eventbrite, etc.), you’ll be directed to their registration page.
Your attendance is visible to other attendees. This helps people know you’ll be there and makes it easier to coordinate meetups.
Build Your Network
Events are about the people. Use Sero to connect before, during, and after.
Before the Event
- Review the attendee list
- Filter by your connections to see who you know
- Click through to profiles of people you want to meet
- Send a message to coordinate a meetup
At the Event
- Use the attendee list to identify people nearby
- Reference profiles to remember names and context
- Check for mutual connections as conversation starters
After the Event
- Follow up with people you met
- Connect on other platforms through their Sero profiles
- Track future events they’re attending
Manage Your Account
Access your settings at se.ro/settings :
- Profile: Update your bio, photo, and details
- Social Graphs: Connect or disconnect platforms
- Notifications: Control email and push preferences
- Privacy: Manage who can see your profile and attendance
