Sponsorship
Turn your conference page into a revenue channel. Conference Sponsor Pages let you offer sponsors a branded sidebar widget on your Sero event page — giving them visibility with every attendee who browses your calendar, while helping you offset (or profit from) your Sero subscription.
Each flagship event supports one sponsor slot. This keeps the attendee experience clean while giving your sponsor maximum visibility.
How It Works
Sponsors get a dedicated card in the sidebar of your public event page. The card displays their logo, company name, a short description, and a call-to-action button — all styled with the sponsor’s brand color.
- Desktop — The sponsor card appears in the right sidebar, below the activity preview
- Mobile — The sponsor card appears as a full-width block above the events section
When sponsorship is active, the sponsor card replaces the Featured Events carousel in the sidebar.
Setting Up a Sponsor
As a conference admin, you control who has access to configure the sponsor widget.
Grant sponsor access
Add the sponsor’s representative as an organizer (or use an existing organizer) and assign them the Manage sponsor display permission. You can grant this to multiple people from the sponsoring company — they all share access to the same configuration.
See Team Management for details on adding organizers and managing permissions.
Sponsor configures their branding
The sponsor navigates to the Sponsor tab in conference management and fills in:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Logo | Company logo (square recommended) |
| Company Name | Displayed on the card |
| Website | Shown as a link below the name |
| Description | Short pitch or tagline |
| Brand Color | HEX color for the card’s gradient overlay |
| CTA Text | Button label (e.g., “Learn More”) |
| CTA URL | Where the button links |
On desktop, a live preview updates as fields are filled in, so sponsors see exactly what their card will look like.
Enable the widget
Once all fields are complete, the sponsor toggles Show sponsor card on. The widget appears immediately on the public event page.
Sponsors configure their own branding — you don’t need to do it for them. If something needs adjusting, you can edit the configuration yourself or revoke their access.
Managing Sponsors
Oversight
You retain full control over the sponsor widget at all times:
- Edit directly — Admins can modify the sponsor configuration themselves
- Revoke access — Remove the Manage sponsor display permission from any user. The sponsor configuration is preserved — only their ability to edit it changes
- Disable the widget — Toggle the sponsor card off without deleting the configuration
No approval workflow
There’s no review step before a sponsor’s changes go live. Sponsors are trusted to configure their own branding. If something looks off, revoke their access and make corrections.
For Sponsors
If you’ve been invited to configure a sponsor widget:
Accept the invitation
You’ll receive the standard organizer invite email. Follow the link to access the conference management dashboard.
Open the Sponsor tab
Navigate to the Sponsor tab in the conference management sidebar.
Fill in your branding
Complete all required fields. The live preview on the right (desktop) shows exactly how your card will appear to attendees.
Save and enable
Click Save, then toggle Show sponsor card on. Your branded card is now live on the event page.
Empty fields show placeholder defaults in the preview — these are never saved or shown publicly. Fill in all required fields before enabling.
Logo Upload
- Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP
- Recommended shape: Square
- If a logo fails to load, attendees see an avatar fallback with the first letter of the company name
Current Limitations
| Limitation | Detail |
|---|---|
| One sponsor per event | A single sponsorship slot per flagship conference |
| No analytics | Click and impression tracking is not yet available |
| No scheduling | Sponsors manually toggle the widget on and off |
| Desktop-only preview | The configuration form works on all devices, but the side-by-side live preview only appears on desktop |
